I grew up in the Midwest but found myself in Southern California for graduate school and decided I could never leave. I worked in corporate America for 15 years until I decided I needed something more. I wanted to do something with my life for which I felt a passion. I left the corporate arena to start a company in the scuba industry, Scuba Diver Girls. Now I could focus on this newly found passion of diving while still using marketing skills I learned in the office. I have two amazing children who share my love for marine life.

I grew up on the beaches of Southern California. Every free minute was spent swimming and playing in the ocean. When others went off to College, I applied to one school, San Diego State University, because I didn’t want to leave. I was already in paradise I didn’t need to leave it. I had been diving for many years, but I knew something was missing. I was having fun, but I was looking to do more than just scuba. I wanted to play and share my passion and joy with others. Margo had that same passion for having fun and once trained to dive; she was on fire. All diving is freedom and passion. And, we turned that freedom and passion into a company, Scuba Diver Girls.
