Fantastic features with the TG-Tacker
Our favorite feature was that the camera requires no housing. The camera can go down to 100 feet, which is typically the deepest most recreational divers venture. And the best part is there is no need to worry about cleaning a housing after your dive is done. This minimizes the risk of flooding the camera, which was a big plus in our book! Now we just grab our camera and head out to the ocean.
There is a small LED light on the front of the camera that can be set to turn on each time you start your video, or switched on manually as desired. This is a nice feature for us when diving Southern California because it can be dark at depth in areas such as caves and under ledges. This light shines just enough to brighten up the area and get the shot of that horn shark hiding under the rocky ledge, or the silly octopus that won’t come out from a big kelp tree.
