Diving
Climb into your rental truck with your Stay, Drive & Dive or Snorkel Package, and take advantage of that unique natural feature; the awesome shore diving with over 60 dive site, that has made Bonaire world famous.
Our dive operator, Wannadive has it all. A full service PADI Dive Center with an exceptional staff, they can provide full PADI certifications and “referral” courses as well as 24/7 tank pickup and drop off at 4 Wannadive island locations.
Here at Golden Reef, you also have access to a secure gear storage, full rinse and drying facilities, along with 24 hour drive up tank access. Air, Nitrox and Trimix if needed are available.
Novice or Experienced Photographer? Fish Eye Photo, our full service photo shop can provide you with underwater imaging (photography and video) equipment and accessories rentals like digital photo cameras, digital video cameras, strobes, housings, lenses, strobe arms, sync cords, and much more. PADI underwater photography and video specialties courses are available.

Activities & Other Amenities
Snorkeling: Bonaire may be known as a “divers” paradise, but snorkelers will be happy to know they could spot many different species of fish and coral in shallow waters! Snorkeling is a perfect activity for the whole family. But if you haven’t tried it yet, no problem! Renee from Renee Snorkel Trips (we also refer to here, as “Eagle Eye” will make you comfortable in the water in no time flat. Renee specializes in working with children as young as 2 and children “young at heart” as young as 80. She also works with special needs and handicapped snorkelers too.
Sport Fishing: Attention fisherman (and fisher ladies) We can arrange fishing ½ or full day fishing charters! Imagine hooking that prize Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Barracuda or Dorado. The local crew knows all the “good spots”! Expect personalized service, as we have no “mass” fishing boats here. Small personalized boats for groups are just what the beginner or seasoned individual can expect.
Mangrove Snorkel/Kayaking: We can arrange for you to snorkel and or Kayak along the edge of the mangrove forest, which serves as the “nursery” of the Bonaire’s Caribbean Sea Shore. Who knows you may even spot some “upside down jellyfish, large red starfish or flamingos topside. We can also combine snorkeling with activities cave exploration or island tours.
Mountain Biking: Bonaire has miles of trails perfect for this sport. Pack a backpack with a simple lunch and head up into the hills where you can stop and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and terrain of Bonaire. This tour will interest any biker, at any fitness level, from beginner to advanced.
Cave Exploration: Bonaire has many cave systems, some are dry and others have lakes and tunnels. We can arrange guided tours of these AMAZING wonders, including cave snorkeling.
Windsurfing: The trade winds on Bonaire provide the most awesome winds in the Caribbean, if not the world, making the “East Coast” area of Lac Cai perfect for this sport. We can arrange packages for the novice to the expert windsurfer. Want to try it, no problem, the crew on the “other coast” will be happy to teach you.
Sunset Cruises: Choose from a “happy hour” sunset cruise, to a “full blown Thai Dinner Cruise. We can even customize your packages for groups to include a Beach BBQ.
Massage: Nubia is a professional in massage therapy, facials, reflexology, lymph drainage, Shiatsu, deep tissue massage and other body and facial treatments. To help heal sore muscles and joints, try her soothing mud therapy treatment, or relax with a stress-relieving facial to cleanse and revitalize your face and neck. Enjoy one of Nubia’s therapies, facials, or manicure sessions poolside, in the privacy of your own apartment, or just a 2 minute ride from Golden Reef Inn at her professional, soothing and relaxing spa.
