Bonaire Scuba Diving – Heaven from the Shore

The dive shops are helpful, and locals greet you with big smiles. Bonaire scuba diving is easy and stress-free. Add crystal clear, blue water and we can say that this is an island paradise. There are so many wonderful sites to visit, and most are accessible just off the shore. No boats filled with strangers. No vacations dictated by the charter schedule. Here you dictate your schedule and choose your buddies.

Shallow surprises for divers

Island sites have many beautiful and interesting features. Of course, there are beautiful reefs that house a myriad of sea creatures awaiting your visit. But there are also many other things to see during your trip. The island has wrecks, anchors and colorful reefs for snorkeling. If you find the right dive site, you can even see a coral garden.

Beautiful sites surround Bonaire

After exploring sites on the West side of the island, you can take an excursion over to the East side. Conditions on the East side are a little more advanced. You need a Zodiac to get to reach some of the sites. It’s worth it! There are sites with sea turtles that come out of the grass like popcorn. Other locations with schools of large tarpon that hang in the water and stare at you. The currents tend to be a little stronger so there is the chance that you will see sharks.

This island has great diving opportunities for everyone no matter what your experience level. Bring your camera. Get ready to get some fantastic shots. This destination is beautiful underwater.
